FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We provide a .mp4 video file for you to download. These can be uploaded across most platforms and your website. If you have any trouble or need another file type, just let us know.

  • You can, but we prefer you look off camera. The videographer will be seated next to the camera and it helps to feel more conversational to direct your answer to them.

  • For wardrobe, muted and dark colors in solid or larger prints look best.  Avoid stripes, pinstripes, bright colors, red or white, as they don't look so good on video.  And if you are worried about it, you can use a little face powder to ease any shiny skin, but it is not necessary.

  • No worries, you can do another take! We can also do alot in the edit to make you sound your best.

  • No. While most people want to shoot in their home, you don’t have to. Local libraries often have spaces we can shoot in. We can also shoot outdoors if weather permits and there are no noise issues.

  • Yes. Typically we get the questions to you a week or two before your interview shoots. We don’t recommend reading your answers, although an outline or a few notes may help you remember what you would like to say.
